(Photo) Voting for Ron Paul would be harmful to humanity and the Earth — A Pro vs. Con balance-sheet »
Especially for my progressive/liberal friends who think Ron Paul is somehow an alternative just because he’s anti-war and supports the legalization of drugs.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Ron Paul isn’t just about smaller government, he’s for expanding the corporate sector. We wouldn’t be removing authoritarianism, only replacing it with an equal tyranny.

People who claim to be anarchists and then support public schools, the minimum wage, and agencies like the EPA…
The majority of claims made by this infographic are misleading or entirely false. How exactly does Ron Paul plan to destroy women’s, gay and civil rights? Because he doesn’t want to grant special privileges? Because he doesn’t believe that individuals who are morally against abortion or birth control should be forced to pay for these services? Ron Paul’s stance on gay marriage is get the state out of it and let everyone have their own personal definition. Ron Paul believes in birth control. Ron Paul believes in the day after pill. Ron Paul’s stance on abortion is he’s personally against it but that it is a social and moral issue, not a legal one. How does Ron Paul value property owners above all others? Seriously, explain yourself if you’re going to be making claims like these. Ron Paul would protect justly acquired property. That’s not valuing property owners above all others, it’s valuing individual rights. Ron Paul would promote less taxes for everyone, not just the “1%”. Ron Paul would not promote creationism over evolution. When has he ever said this or voted for anything that would make you believe this? Ron Paul thinks people should be able to believe and do whatever they want, so long as they’re not infringing on another’s rights. It is not the job of the government to “promote” creationism or evolution. Those are matters for individuals to decide on. How is Ron Paul for expanding the corporate sector? He wants to audit and work on ending the Federal Reserve. He wants to stop giving special rights and political privileges to corporations and give the same rights to everyone. As far as the EPA, Ron Paul is for private property, which means you cannot pollute your neighbor’s air, water, or whatever else. Under the current system, businesses and industries that pollute can get away with simply paying a fine that is cheaper than upgrading their technology in order to make it better for the environment, or they can simply bribe politicians. How is Ron Paul against immigrant rights? He wants to make it easier for immigrants to come here legally. What exactly is wrong with deregulating the market and banking? Regulations = special privileges for banks and certain businesses/corporations over others. The strongest regulation is purchasing power, and that power lies in the hands of the people. It is the governmental regulations that usurp this power and give corporations and businesses special privileges that benefit the few at the expense of the many. That is the definition of corporatism.
What is wrong with the concept of personal responsibility? What is wrong with giving the same rights to everybody? What is wrong with ending the warfare state while using the money saved to balance out the welfare state for the elderly that have payed into it while letting the young opt out of a failed system? What is wrong with the concept that no one has the right to aggress against another, regardless of their reasons for doing so? What is wrong with abolishing gun laws? For liberals who claim to be all about the Bill of Rights, whatever happened the the Second Amendment? The fact is that both parties claim to be for the Constitution and for the Bill of Rights, but in reality all they do is pick and choose what they like while conveniently ignoring the parts they don’t like.
Another question:
If Ron Paul is all for increasing corporate and banking power, then why aren’t the corporations and banks supporting him? Why are both Mitt Romney’s and Obama’s top campaign donations coming from Goldmann Sachs while Ron Paul’s are coming from the military?
Bottom line: if you’re going to be making claims like this, back them up.

Check and mate.
