Freedom Without Exception

I find it really ironic that the statists who want MORE taxpayer money to be funneled into education don’t see the hypocrisy in their idea. Presumably, the taxpayer money would be used to give the teachers salary increases. This is under the assumption that if teachers were paid better, they would teach better, and our education system would be improved. Therefore, the more money someone is making, the more likely they are to perform with more care. By acknowledging this basic truth, you are also acknowledging the awesome power of the free market. Have fun protesting against capitalism while using tenants of capitalism to drive your point home! 

Liberals try to defeat racism.

Libertarians try to defeat the idea that race is a valid factor in the amount of rights individuals have.

Liberals would like to see the end of greed and wealth disparity.

Libertarians recognize that it is only through the marriage of government and business and the government’s “regulations” and central planning of the economy that corruption and extreme wealth disparity is able to take hold. We also fight against the lifeblood of greed-the Federal Reserve-which is made up of a cartel of extremely wealthy, private, international bankers that prints money to fund bailouts and war profiteering. 

Liberals are anti-war, but are still voting for Obama, who has expanded the wars and started new ones.

Libertarians are anti-war, so they will vote for Ron Paul, who will use his constitutional capability to issue an executive order to bring the troops home “as soon as the ships can get there.” 

Liberals want gay marriage to be legal.

Libertarians believes the government to has no authority to determine the “sanctity of marriage”. If a male and female would like to enter into a civil contract, they can do so. If a male and a male or a female and a female would like to enter into the same exact kind of consensual contract, they have EVERY RIGHT TO DO SO.

Liberals think drugs should be legalized.

Libertarians think drugs should be legalized. For that reason, we will not vote for Barack Obama, who is illegally ordering Medical Marijuana factories in California to be shut down.

The idea that homosexuality is a choice on any level is so fascinatingly short-sighted. Homosexuality is extremely well-documented throughout pretty much all of history. Could one really conclude that it has just been “in vogue” to be gay all this time? Yeah, obviously people weren’t gay until the modern western world started becoming “more secular.” I’m confident that my generation is smart enough to change the landscape of the treatment of the LGBT community. Every individual human being is entitled to an equal amount of freedom, regardless of the group that the media and political powers that be put them in.

Has no one ever stopped to think of how STUPID the idea of sanctions are? The argument is essentially, “This is an evil government that oppresses its citizens. Until they start doing what we want them to, we’re going to restrict trade with this nation, thereby depriving its citizens and our own citizens of goods and services that they need. This way, the government will want to shape up.” 

It would be like killing a zebra with an expectation that the lions are going to be like “Oh man, that human killed a zebra. I care about zebras! I’m gonna start obeying humans.” In reality, the zebra is going to be like “Awesome, a dead zebra! Dinner!”
